This Disclaimer outlines the relationship between Yella Ride LLC ("YellaRide," "platform," "we"), customers, and rental operators.

1. Platform Marketplace Role

YellaRide is not a car rental company and does not own, manage, or operate vehicles listed on the platform.

YellaRide is a digital marketplace that connects customers with independent rental operators.

We:

  • Display vehicle listings provided by operators
  • Facilitate booking and payment
  • Provide customer support for booking-related matters

Operators:

  • Supply and manage vehicles
  • Handle security deposits
  • Fulfill the rental service

2. Operator Responsibility

All responsibilities related to the vehicle and rental service belong to the operator, including:

  • Mechanical or technical failures
  • Personal injury, loss, or theft of belongings
  • Operator's failure to provide a vehicle

Any claims relating to the vehicle must be resolved directly with the operator.

4. No Liability for Operator Actions

Operators are independent businesses.

YellaRide is not liable for:

  • Operator behavior or communication
  • Any breach of contract by the operator
  • Operator-imposed security deposits, fines, or additional fees

Operators must follow YellaRide's framework, but some deposit and operational rules may vary.

5. Information Accuracy

Vehicle details, pricing, and images are provided by rental operators.

YellaRide does not guarantee:

  • Availability of a specific vehicle
  • Accuracy of mileage, model year, or condition
  • Real-time pricing changes

We attempt to keep listings accurate, but operators hold the final responsibility for information accuracy.

6. Third-Party Payments & Transactions

YellaRide collects rental payment from the customer on behalf of the operator.

However:

  • Security deposits are handled directly by the operator
  • Operators may require additional verification or documentation at pickup

YellaRide is not responsible for:

  • Delays in deposit refunds
  • Deposit disputes

7. Customer Responsibility

Before accepting a vehicle, the customer must:

  • Inspect the vehicle
  • Review the rental agreement
  • Understand the operator's deposit and fuel policies

Once the customer accepts the vehicle, they assume responsibility for compliance with the rental terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

YellaRide shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform or the rental service.

This applies even if YellaRide has been advised of the possibility of damages.

9. Acceptance of Disclaimer

By booking through YellaRide, the customer acknowledges and agrees:

  • YellaRide acts as an intermediary
  • The operator is responsible for service delivery
  • YellaRide's liability is limited to the extent allowed by law
