1. Introduction
Welcome to Yella Ride ("we," "us," "our," or "YellaRide").
YellaRide is an online marketplace that connects customers ("you", "user") with independent car rental operators ("rental providers").
YellaRide:
- Does not own or operate vehicles listed on the platform
- Is not a rental company
- Acts only as a booking facilitator between customer and rental operator
When booking a vehicle through YellaRide, you enter into:
- A rental agreement with the car rental operator
- A platform usage agreement with YellaRide
By accessing or using YellaRide, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility to Use the Platform
To book using YellaRide, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driving license
- Provide accurate personal information
- Agree to the rental operator's terms, including insurance and deposit rules
Rental operators may have different age restrictions (e.g., SUV / luxury cars may require 25+).
3. Booking Process
- Choose your car on YellaRide
- Select rental dates, pickup & drop-off location
- Complete payment (prepaid or pay later if available)
- Receive booking confirmation email / app notification
The confirmation contains:
- Rental operator details
- Pickup instructions
- Required documents
4. Payments
- YellaRide collects full booking payment online (prepaid bookings)
- Security deposit (if required) is handled directly by the rental operator
- Deposits may be held on credit card or pre-authorized
YellaRide does not control:
- Deposit charges
- Additional service fees (tolls, traffic fines, damages, fuel usage)
5. Customer Responsibilities
You must:
- Provide accurate driver information
- Arrive on time for pickup
- Return the vehicle in the same condition
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
You are financially responsible for:
- Damages caused during your rental period
- Lost keys, parking tickets, toll charges, fuel charges
- Returning the vehicle late or to a wrong location
6. Rental Operator Responsibilities
Operators must:
- Provide the vehicle booked or a similar category vehicle
- Clearly communicate deposit requirements
- Ensure the vehicle is in roadworthy condition
- Provide insurance coverage details
7. YellaRide Role & Liability Limitation
YellaRide is not liable for:
- Vehicle condition
- Deposit deductions
- Accidents, damages, or loss during rental period
- Extra charges requested by rental operator
YellaRide only facilitates:
- Booking
- Payment
- Customer support communication
All rental obligations are between you and the rental operator.
8. Cancellation & No-Show Rules
- Cancellation terms depend on the rental operator
- If a user fails to arrive (no-show), payment may be non-refundable

9. Refunds
Refunds are processed based on:
- Operator approval (for booking-related issues)
- Payment terms chosen during booking

10. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Use fake identities or documents

- Try to bypass operators and book directly to avoid fees
Such actions may lead to account suspension.
